The first IKANO shopping Centre established in Finland

The construction work of the first IKANO shopping Centre was started in Matkus area of Kuopio on 17th May 2011.

IKANO shopping Centre is located next to the new IKEA department store, both of them opening in autumn 2012. IKANO shopping Centre is one of the largest constructions sites in Finland, the building contract totaling 54,000 m2.

IKANO will house 90 shops, cafés and restaurants. There are excellent traffic connections to the commercial complex and the parking space accommodates 3.000 cars.

The new shopping Centre will have direct access to Ikea. The business idea of the Ikano Retail Centres is to create places of sales in attractive market areas in the Nordic countries.
