Sweco Paatela Architects Oy in Finland is a subsidiary of Sweco Architects Ab in Sweden, the largest architectural design firm in the Nordic region. Besides its Finnish subsidiary, Sweco Architects has 13 offices in Sweden and a Danish subsidiary, Sweco Architects As, Skaarup & Jespersen.

Altogether, the group employs over 500 architects, interior designers, landscape architects and other specialists.

While each office works independently in its own country and region, they also make use of the specialist knowledge and resources of the other offices in the group in order to guarantee the best possible expertise for each client and each project. All of the offices share the common goal of producing high-quality architecture, with optimally functioning and sustainable design solutions.

Sweco Paatela Architects’ special expertise and longstanding experience relates particularly to the design and functional planning of hospitals and other healthcare, elderly-care and wellbeing sector facilities. But the office also has wide experience in educational, industrial, research and other public sector projects. Our designers use their ecpertise as architects and principal designers also in different land use and housing assignments.
