Emission Permit Applications and Emission Reports specified in Kioto’s Climate Agreement can cause a lot of extra work and some grey hairs especially to smaller companies. Often there are not enough personnel or knowledge for this. At Sweco we have – and we are willing to help.

Three companies in Taivalkoski and in Kuusamo, Finland, chose to use Sweco as their partner in emission reporting issues. Sweco has a broad expertise in environmental issues. These companies respect sustainable thinking and the three power plants use entirely or partly biomass as fuels

Sweco has done Emission Permit Applications and attached emission monitoring plans for their clients’ small power plants (pienvoimalaitos). Sweco has also collected all the enclosure materials needed. At Sweco,we also do yearly CO2-emission reports for the plants. We can provide assistance in questions and problems related to emission trading.
