Coordination of data models and infrastructure models

We provide support with the necessary and high-quality information modelling (BIM) at every stage of a built environment’s lifecycle. We have developed effective coordination methods that are based on the LEAN principles to be used in construction and infrastructure projects. We will ensure that the correct things are modelled in a project and that information is able to flow seamlessly from the space requirement surveys to the planning, implementation, commissioning and maintenance.

Information modelling (BIM)

Information modelling supports the management of a built environment’s entire lifecycle. Building construction, infrastructure and industrial projects can utilise it at every step, from the space requirement and project surveys to the implementation plans, construction, handover and maintenance. We comply with the client’s instructions and the general data model requirements, such as YTV for buildings and YIV for infrastructure, in all projects.

Data models help harmonize structures and designs, build structures according to the designs and manage production. Additionally, visual 3D models promote interaction, cooperation, knowledge-based management and decision-making. Furthermore, they can be used in a project’s quality control, cost calculations and procurement processes.

Coordination of data models and infrastructure models

We provide experienced data model and infrastructure model coordinators for our clients’ projects. Depending on the project type, our experts can serve in various roles and find the best implementation methods for each case. For example, a model coordinator may prepare and manage planning, ensure that data models are used during construction or provide expert help to a client. In addition to that, we offer our expertise in 3D visualisation, simulations and multi-objective optimisation for projects.

The most important duty of an infrastructure or data model coordinator is to harmonise plans and bridge any gaps between the visions of a client and the designers. We also ensure that every project has a viable plan that remains up to date and in order throughout the project. This will guarantee a swift and cost-effective end result that is high in quality.

Modeling data can be enriched after the completion of the project into a digital twin of the object, in which case the up-to-date information also support use and maintenance. At the same time, model-based information enables real estate and infrastructure life cycle management and long-term planning (PTS).
