To us, information modelling is a tool to aid in design, construction, use and maintenance. We focus on utilizing and distributing information models and the information contained in them throughout the entire life cycle of the building or industrial plant. Modelling enhances communication and seamless cooperation between the various parties involved in the construction process.
We follow the YTV 2012 guidelines and our services enable the comprehensive utilization of data models in the various phases of the project.
BIM Coordinator
BIM coordinator acts as the client's expert in the project. The BIM coordinator assists the subscriber in ordering a good quality input data model. In the project planning phase, a preliminary data modeling plan is defined for the project and sufficient time for data modeling is ensured. In the preparation phase of the design, a risk analysis of the data modeling is prepared.
The BIM Coordinator assists the client in defining the data modeling tasks of the designers. In the draft phase, the data model coordinator identifies all modeling needs with the client and the architect. During the implementation phase of the project, the BIM coordinator collects, coordinates and verifies the data models of the different design parties. He systematically coordinates and reports on the project’s data modeling tasks.
During the construction preparation phase, the BIM coordinator performs data model quality assurance tasks and assists the client in the selection of contractors. During the construction phase, he will conduct a data model review, update the data modeling plan, and agree on collaborative procedures for modeling. Monitoring the updating of actual data and reporting the data modeling situation are the tasks of the construction phase.
At the end of the project, the BIM coordinator prepares a combination model of the design or implementation models with reports and assists in the utilization of the data models in the maintenance phase of the building.
