Geotechnics

Our geotechnical engineering has a long history with railway construction and planning in Finland. We have been an active developer and forerunner in Finnish geotechnical engineering.

Our planners have years of experience in demanding geotechnical planning assignments in Finland and abroad, from road and track projects, as well as building construction projects.Our expertise covers route bearing courses, subgrade reinforcement, pipe and pumping station ditches, pipeline and pumping station foundations, buildability reports, groundwater reviews, bridge foundations, noise barriers, and retaining wall structures.
 
Our expertise in geotechnical engineering for buildings and industrial sites covers the following areas: foundation, ditches, subgrade reinforcement, dewatering lots and buildings, groundwater management, pile-driving, and excavation.
 
We aim to develop new and increasingly accurate geotechnical calculation and research methods, as well as ever better and more affordable subgrade construction methods.
