Attics in Pitkänsillanranta

In 2014, a major attic construction project was started for a residential building in Pitkänsillanranta, Helsinki, which was completed in 1906. Six new attic apartments were completed in the more than 100-year-old value property, combining the spirit of the old property, the sea view and the proximity to the city center.

Six new attic dwellings were built at the site. In connection with the construction, the entire building was also completely restored. The apartments were completed in 2015.

All the structures of the original building were demolished up to the ceiling of the upper living floor. Our experts designed structural solutions for all new attic apartments. The newest apartments also had terraces and a new outdoor balcony in one of the apartments. The water roof of the house was also renovated during the project.
