The green transition is a huge resource and possibility for Finland. It is not only a necessity for the climate to combat change and halt biodiversity loss, but also those who create job possibilities and well-being in Finland the engine of the economy.<\/p>\n

The green transition is done together<\/h2>\n

However, Finns need clarity on the subject. According to a survey conducted by Sweco, the topic is perceived as difficult to understand. Moreover, up to a third of Finns say they are not confident about the green the realisation of the transition.<\/p>\n

“Finns have an attitude towards green transition contradictory. Up to a third of Finns says he is not confident about green the realisation of the transition. Half however, Finns like realising the green transition as necessary and 82% rated the benefits of the green transition Finnish society”, sums up Iida Vakkuri<\/strong>, Sweco Finland\u00b4s Chief Sustainability Officer.<\/p>\n

The understanding of the green transition is too narrow. It is considered to cover mainly industrial solutions and the energy transition. However, it also involves the construction of circular economy and resource efficiency of its and infrastructure, conversion construction, energy-efficient solutions, and climate-resilient urban planning and land use planning that strengthens biodiversity. It is also a central urban development, agile public transport, energy-efficient housing and biodiversity support.<\/p>\n

So the green transition is already underway in many areas. It promotes Finland’s resilience in crisis and brings social wealth and export earnings.<\/p>\n

We must support this development and, at the same time, produce provide new information on the subject and create opportunities for civil dialogue. Only then can we promote green transition and create new sustainable growth.<\/p>\n
