Investments into circular economy<\/h1>\n

We assess the techno-economic feasibility of the circular economy investment in the preliminary design phase and make sure that the project supports the client\u2019s sustainability goals. Circular economy plants are often based on a new type of business, which is why the plant concept and different technologies should be assessed from different perspectives.<\/p>\n

Investment preparations<\/h4>\n

We use a variety of models in the preparation and assessment of the investment, depending on the client\u2019s needs. Our broad-based process expertise and knowledge of industrial environments support reliable assessment of investments. For our part, we make sure that the investment\u2019s preparatory work phases are carried out in a timely manner and in the correct order. The investment preparations are supported by the risk identification and assessment processes carried out as part of the preparations.<\/p>\n

Technology surveys<\/h4>\n

We support the planning of circular economy investments with our broad-based technology expertise and knowledge of the international market. We assess the maturity of different technologies and provide the reference and review data necessary to support the client\u2019s decision-making.<\/p>\n

If necessary, a technology survey also benefits the project\u2019s financiers as a statement from an independent third party. Further development of the plant concept and tentative technology choices also improve the accuracy of the investment cost estimate.<\/p>\n

Feasibility studies<\/h4>\n

Circular economy investments often meet a new demand and make use of innovative solutions. This makes the assessment of the project\u2019s techno-economic feasibility more challenging than usual, as it involves greater uncertainties.<\/p>\n

We help our clients manage the uncertainties related to feasibility calculations that may arise from factors such as the availability of raw materials, market changes and the increase in operating costs. Cost risks can be anticipated with various scenario analyses and value chain analyses<\/u>.<\/p>\n

Circular economy concepts and pilots<\/h4>\n

We help our clients develop viable plant concepts that promote the circular economy, in addition to helping them scale these concepts through a pilot plant for commercial scale industrial production.
