P2X Solutions aims to a 20-megawatt industrial-scale entity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<section class=\"newsitem__wysiwyg wysiwyg\">\u201cHydrogen is one of the key elements in energy transition, as we need clean and effective solutions for energy storage technology. P2X Solutions is a Finnish pioneer of green hydrogen and Power-to-X technology, and we at Sweco are extremely happy to cooperate with such a forerunner in energy transition. This project is a valuable step in tackling the challenges of climate change and to support more sustainable society,\u201d says\u00a0<strong>Erik Skogstr\u00f6m<\/strong>, Managing Director of Sweco Industry in Finland.Front-end Engineering Design (FEED) will be completed by the end of 2021 including technical design of the project, plant location, specification and tenders of the main equipment, and a permit review. After the investment decision, P2X Solutions will start detailed design and procurement of the facility. The aim is to start construction work at the site in late 2022 and to commission the plant in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;P2X Solutions&#8217; first hydrogen production facility is a 20-megawatt industrial-scale entity that we believe can be replicated in other plants both in Finland and around the world. The FEED study lays the foundation for making the first investment decision.
