(Tech.), has been appointed Head of People, Culture and Strategy at Sweco Finland and a member of the Management Team. In her new role, she will lead Sweco Finland&#8217;s HR unit and will also be responsible for the company&#8217;s cultural and strategy work. Tavia will start in his position on 1 September 2026 and report to CEO Thomas Hietto.<\/p>\n<p>Johanna Tavia has previously been responsible for coordinating Sweco Finland&#8217;s strategy work and currently works as a team leader in the Strategic Sustainability Consulting unit. He has supported the management, personnel and other stakeholders in different organisations in building a common direction, clarifying sustainability goals and implementing changes in practise.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our strategy comes alive through our people, and a unified corporate culture and good leadership play a key role in this. Johanna knows our strategy well, and she has a lot of experience in involving people and developing operations in the long term. Our operating environment and the needs of our clients are constantly changing, and the development of technology also creates new kinds of requirements for our expertise. That is why it is important that we understand what kind of skills we will need in the future, and that we develop the competence of our personnel as well as our organisation and leadership systematically. At the same time, we must ensure that our wide-ranging HR services remain smooth and continue to develop. Johanna has an excellent background in leading this entity,&#8221; says T<strong>homas Hietto<\/strong>, CEO of Sweco Finland.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The best ideas and solutions are created when people feel well, find their work meaningful and are able to make full use of their skills.
