\nSweco to Design Mets\u00e4 Group\u2019s Muoto Fibre Packaging Production Facility in \u00c4\u00e4nekoski<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mets\u00e4 Group is investing in the production of Muoto fibre packaging in \u00c4\u00e4nekoski. The design of the new production facility continues the long-standing collaboration between Sweco and Mets\u00e4.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sweco is responsible for the process, ICT, electrical and automation engineering for the production facility, as well as layout and piping design. Sweco also participated in the design of the Muoto technology pilot plant. In addition, the company has been involved in several Mets\u00e4 projects at the \u00c4\u00e4nekoski mill site and in the development of new wood-based products, including the \u00c4\u00e4nekoski bioproduct mill and the \u00c4\u00e4nekoski Kerto LVL mill.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have collaborated with Mets\u00e4 at the \u00c4\u00e4nekoski mill site for a long time and have also participated in the earlier development phases of the Muoto technology. Our long-standing cooperation and the shared experience gained from previous projects mean that the project’s starting points, operating environment and design requirements are very familiar to us,\u201d says Tuomas Salminen,<\/strong> Division Director, Industry and Energy, Sweco.<\/p>\n
