Sweco acquires Maisema-arkkitehtitoimisto Näkymä

Sweco has acquired the entire share capital of Maisema-arkkitehtitoimisto Näkymä Oy. The acquisition complements Sweco’s landscape architecture services and strengthens Sweco’s position, especially in large cities as well as historically and culturally valuable sites.
Founded in 2003, Maisema-arkkitehtitoimisto Näkymä is an expert in environmental design with extensive experience in landscape and environmental design. The company employs a total of about 20 landscape architecture professionals and specializes in the design of historically and culturally valuable sites. The company is known for its high quality and innovative solutions.

As a result of the acquisition, Maisema-arkkitehtitoimisto Näkymä Oy has been transferred to Sweco’s ownership in its current form. According to current estimates, the merger with Sweco will take place in the summer of 2026, when the company’s experts will become part of Sweco’s Architecture, Landscape and Land Use Division.
