Hygienic design
Our designers are familiar with the hygiene requirements of food establishments and the hygiene instructions of the food industry. In hygienic design, we emphasize risk management. We ensure that food establishments are designed according to European standards to support uncompromising product safety and quality. We follow well-known European design practices and are a member of the European Hygienic Engineering Design Group (EHEDG).
Hygiene areas
We combine the facility-specific hygiene classes and hygiene areas with other area solutions, such as ATEX safety, fire safety and HACCP inspections. We help to create a functional overall concept that emphasizes food safety, but takes all risk areas into account.
Cleanability
Cleanability is taken into account in the design of both structures and processes. The chemical resistance and cleanability of materials guide equipment choices, purchases and structural design. We are familiar with both steam sterilization (SIP) and cleaning-in-place (CIP) methods.

Food Safety and Quality Schemes
We ensure that consideration of food legislation and food safety requirements guides plant and process design as well as the development of new foodstuffs and contact materials. We support the food industry in meeting legislative requirements.
Quality Systems
We help food industry operators create new quality management systems in accordance with international standards, such as BRC and ISO 22000 FSSC. We also draw up self-monitoring systems and HACCP programmes and carry out compliance reviews.
Safety Planning
Food safety should be examined together with machinery, cyber, process and chemical safety. We ensure the safe handling and storage of hazardous chemicals in accordance with safety requirements.
Compliance
We are a partner for the food industry in chemical permit applications, the preparation of safety data sheets and the fulfillment of REACH obligations.
Contact Materials
We provide comprehensive services to companies manufacturing food packaging and contact materials (FCM) in meeting the requirements of the Finnish Food Act (297/2021) and food contact material legislation. Among other things, we carry out conformity checks.
Project Management Services for the Food Industry
We offer comprehensive project management, construction management and supervision services for food industry projects. The plant can be designed and built from a clean slate (Greenfield) or in an existing industrial environment (Brownfield), for example, using the EPCM project management model.
