Fimpec Companies will be consolidated into Sweco

At the beginning of October 2025, Sweco entered into an agreement to acquire the Fimpec Group. The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority approved the transaction in November, and as of the beginning of December, the Fimpec companies became part of Sweco.

As a result of the acquisition, Sweco’s organization has grown by approximately 400 experts, strengthening our position as an expert in consulting, engineering as well as project and construction management, especially in energy and industry sectors. Together, we can offer our clients first-class project execution and design expertise as well as comprehensive services for the implementation of even the most demanding projects.

The Fimpec companies will merge into Sweco on 31 May 2026:

Fimpec Group Oy (Business ID 2850494-8) will merge into Sweco Finland Oy (Business ID 2661738-3)
Fimpec Engineering Oy (Business ID 2133526-4) will merge into Sweco Finland Oy (Business ID 2661738-3)
Fimpec PMO Oy (Business ID 2265287-8) will merge into Sweco PM Oy (Business ID 2635438-4)

As a result of the merger, the Fimpec companies will cease to exist as separate legal entities, and their operations will continue as part of Sweco’s business.

As of 1 June 2026, the email addresses of Fimpec employees will change to the sweco.fi domain. Phone numbers will remain unchanged.
