GO21
The office building located in the heart of Tampere’s city centre offers 11,000 m² of modern and flexible workspace. The project was awarded a LEED Platinum environmental certification, the first of its kind in Tampere.
Sweco played a key role in the project from the very beginning through to the end of the warranty period. The project serves as an example of Sweco’s comprehensive project management and supervision, covering all phases from the needs assessment and construction all the way to the end of the warranty period.
Essity
At Essity Finland Oy’s factory site in Nokia, projects of varying scales have been carried out over many years. Sweco’s implementation has been comprehensive, covering design, project management, and supervision.
The projects have included both new construction on the site of a demolished building, an extension, building services renovation, and reinforcement work for old load-bearing structures, both in the factory’s various buildings and in the yard areas.
KOY Tullintori
The KOY Tullintori development project was launched with Trevian Asset Management through a needs assessment, based on which a project management contractor was sought for the project. The project was implemented collaboratively with the contractor as a construction management contract. After the development phase, a target cost was jointly defined with the contractor.
In the project, Tullitori was transformed from a conventional shopping centre into a multifunctional property combining retail spaces, offices, restaurants, experiences, and art. The project was challenging overall, as the shopping centre remained open throughout the entire process. Sweco was responsible for the project management and supervision of the project. After the project, Sweco has also been involved in several tenant fit-out projects and renovation projects at Tullintori.
