Aurum, University of Turku

Aurum is a state-of-the-art building for bioscience and chemistry research, bringing together advanced laboratory facilities, teaching spaces, and research infrastructure under one roof. Sweco’s assignment included needs assessment and project planning studies, as well as HVAC design and structural engineering services.

E18 Turku Ring Road

The E18 Turku Ring Road is one of Finland’s most significant transport infrastructure projects. The project included the construction of 13 new bridges and extensive improvements to traffic connections and capacity along a key national transport corridor. Sweco served as the client’s construction management consultant for Phase 1 of the design-build contract, supporting the successful delivery of this complex and strategically important project.

Turku Energia electric boiler project

The project is part of Turku Energia’s transition towards the electrification of district heating production. Sweco serves as the project’s EPCM partner (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management), responsible for project management, procurement, and implementation oversight. The electric boiler will enhance the flexibility of the energy system while supporting low-carbon and sustainable heat production.
