Webinar: Climate Risks in the Financial Sector -Nordic Climate Adaptation Seminar Series
Climate change is increasingly shaping financial risks, investment decisions, and long-term economic resilience across the Nordic region. While awareness of climate-related risks is growing, there is still a need for practical approaches to integrating these risks into financial decision-making.
This webinar brings together experts from finance, insurance, the built environment, and the public sector to explore how climate risks—particularly physical risks—can be better understood, assessed, and managed in credit, investment, and planning decisions.

Nordic Climate Adaptation Programme (NCAP) in collaboration with Sweco
Sweco is leading designing and implementing a series of seminars that provide a dedicated forum for Nordic stakeholders to jointly address complex and cross-cutting adaptation challenges, share experiences and best practices, and strengthen mutual understanding across sectors and governance levels.
The Nordic Climate Adaptation Programme (NCAP) 2025–2027, under the Nordic Council of Ministers (NCM) aims to strengthen climate change adaptation efforts across the Nordic region, by establishing a platform for cooperation, enhance knowledge exchange and produce strategic policy advice. The programme is grounded in the Nordic countries’ shared ambition to enhance resilience and sustainability in response to climate change and biodiversity loss. Within this framework, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency has initiated a procurement for a series of seminars and/or workshops to support the program’s goal of strengthening co-operation on climate adaptation by establishing fora for facilitated dialogue, knowledge sharing, and networking across the Nordic region.
