Biogas is one of the future possibilities for Lapland. Regional circular economy based on producing biogas from the residual resources of manufacturing is being developed in the Forestin Eco-Industrial Park in Kemijärvi. The Vantaa tramway is a light rail line planned to connect the most eastern areas of the city to the rail transport network and allow for easy access to Tikkurila, Jumbo, Aviapolis and Helsinki Airport.
