Structural Designer for Power Line Towers
As a Specialist Designer / Structural Designer for Power Line Towers, you will be responsible for the structural design implementation for various types of power line towers and architecturally demanding tall structures in our electricity network projects. Your task is to ensure the durability, safety, and functionality of tall structures under various loading conditions. We are working on domestic and international 400kV and 110kV power line projects together with other Sweco countries.
You will work as part of a highly competent special design team, whose multidisciplinary expertise ensures that help and support are available whenever you need them. You will also collaborate with other Sweco experts. Your closest teammates will be based in Helsinki, but we work flexibly from almost anywhere, allowing you to choose your preferred location. Sweco has offices in 28 locations throughout Finland.

Go ahead and apply if you:
- have a relevant structural engineering degree (B.Sc. / M.Sc.)
- have at least two years of experience in structural analysis and column design or the design of equivalent tower and mast structures,
- are proficient in using systems such as Tekla Structures, PLS-Tower, PLS Cadd, RFEM, and Robot, or experienced with similar software,
- have strong communication skills with fluent English. Knowledge of Finnish is an advantage.
